New patient visit
Your first visit,
start to finish.
$95 with intake and first treatment
About 75 minutes
Same-week times
What happens in your 75 minutes.
Nothing is rushed and nothing happens without your OK. If acupuncture isn’t the right fit, we’ll tell you in the first half hour.

0-5 min
Check-in
Say hi to Jordan at the front desk. Intake forms arrive by email before your visit, so there’s no clipboard. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID.
5-20 min
Health history
Your acupuncturist asks what bothers you, how you sleep, eat and feel, and screens for anything that needs a physician instead.
20-35 min
Pulse, tongue & touch
Pulse at both wrists, a look at your tongue and a gentle check for tender points along the areas involved. We explain each check as we go.
35-45 min
Findings in plain words
What we think is going on, what we don’t know yet, and whether acupuncture is a good fit. If it isn’t, we’ll say so and point you to the right provider.
45-70 min
First treatment, if appropriate
With your consent: fine sterile needles, 25 minutes of rest in a warm room and sometimes cupping for tight muscles.
70-75 min
Your plan & next steps
You leave with a written plan: a realistic number of visits, one thing to try at home, and when we’ll re-check your progress.
